Carolyn Shatwell-Keigley-Landingham

Fifty years sounds like a long time, but time waits for no one. Time has passed so quickly.

I have four children, Laura Bernelis, Lesli Bernelis, Robert Landingham, and Scott Landingham . Robert passed away in August 2009 he was 42. Laura and her husband Chris Bernelis have three children, Nicole, Melissa and Christopher. Lesli and her husband have one daughter, Patti. Robert and his wife adopted a daughter, Julie.

My son Robert's daughter, Julie, now resides in my home. Julie's graduation is Saturday May 26 at 10 A.M. Scott has four children, three sons; Scott Fuson, John Weeks and Cody Landingham. He has one daughter, Amber Landingham.

I am a family oriented person and I love my family very much. There is a total of 9 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren.

My parents are both gone and I lost my youngest sister to cancer.

At the present time I live in Arkansas.

Hiking is my very favorite past-time. I enjoy photography, writing, swimming and flying. The best remark I can make about life is, wow!

What a ride!

Don't get me wrong, there have been days I didn't think I could take one more bad memory, one more bi-polar moment, one more anything.

We humans are so resilient. We can pick ourselves up and keep going forward. It is how we walk the walk! It is our attitude and faith that makes us who we are. Be happy! I am not bi-polar, my oldest daughter is. Again I say, Be happy!!

I am thankful for my education and back in school for the fourth time.

My 50 years have been spent as a wife, mother, photographer, paralegal, nurse, and business owner.

I look forward to seeing everyone.

My favorite friend, is Freddie. He is my 9 lb 4 oz spoiled Rat Terrier. He usually travels with me
