Sally Dove

My husband of 42 years, Fred, and I planned to attend; however, St. Peter suddenly called him to the pearly gates April 29. My life is sort of upside down right now and is thus interfering with my attending.

About my past since Kelley:

I started using my legal name, Sarah, instead of my nickname, Sally. If someone calls me Sally now, I know they are from the first 20 years of my life.

I received a BA in Mathematics from Avila College. (Yes, that would be St. Theresa of Avila, I am one of those still participating as a Catholic.) Most of my professional career was in various positions in Data Processing retiring from Texaco during the Chevron merger. My final position was Data Center manager of Texaco's global data center in Houston.

My husband and I retired to East Texas and became tree farmers. I also maintain websites for non-profits and am past President of the Tyler County Hospital Auxiliary.

We have three children, all ladies. Anneliese Ph.D. is a US Diplomat serving as Culture Affairs Officers in the Amman, Jordan US Embassy. Charlotte is in freight forwarding and working on her second Masters in Communication. Gretchen also has a Masters and is the Deputy Registrar for the Board of Election in Arlington County, VA. Gretchen runs marathons. Lots of education and no son-in-laws, no grandchildren. 3 grand-dogs and one grand-cat.

I have been to 42 of the states and 17 foreign countries.

Memories:

Remember Sister Angelina Marie? We called her SAM and thought we were getting away with something. One day after Latin class, I stayed to ask her a question. I called her SAM, and her head snapped up, and she glared at me. I had immediately realized what I did and was wide eyed with my hand over my mouth. She sort of laughed and said something like she knew we called her that but preferred that I did not spread it around.

I do wish each of you a very excellent and fun event. And greetings too all attending or not. Be safe.

Sarah (Sally Dove) Reinemeyer

P.S. Oh...for those who knew my parents. Mom is dead, but my dad is 94 and still drives his car and takes no regular medicine. I am hoping that I inherited his genes.
